The Picco Bartolomeo Polska sp. zo.o. was established in 2009 on the initiative of the administrative body of the Italian company Picco Bartolomeo srl.
This company work on Italian territory since 1965 and in the first years of activity mainly performede excavations and earthworks for the construction of pipelines aqueduct, as well as accommodation and reclamation of agricultural land. In later years he acquired skills and technical knowledge in works such as:
Realization of roads using GPS technology
Demolition of civil and industrial buildings
Recycling of materials coming from demolition
Building pipelines waterworks, sewage and related treatment plants
Natural engineering works and environmental recovery
All this led the Italian company to obtain the qualification for participation in Italian public procurement for an amount of more than € 8.000.000,00 (in Italy there is a system of qualification of construction companies with issuing certificates from independent bodies called SOA)
The Picco Bartolomeo Polska Sp z oo treasuring the know how of the parent company started its activities in Poland in August 2010, paying his own work for the construction of a section of the A-4 Tarnów - Rzeszów, (from node Rzeszów centralny to node Rzeszów Wschodni) In subcontracting for one of the main companies of Poland (Mostostal SA)
At the end of this first construction activity Picco Polska continued in the spring of 2012, another batch of the A-4 Tarnów-Rzeszów, taken from node Dębica Pustynia to node Rzeszów Zachodni. This time, the general contractor that has decided to give us confidence is Budimex SA.
The collaboration with the Budimex has become a cornerstone of our small company. We are proud to have earned the trust of the technical managers of Budimex and to be interviewed to perform the work on successive sections of the A4 stretch Zachód Rzeszów - Rzeszów Centralny and Rzeszow (wezel Wschodni) - Jaroslaw (wezel Wierzbna)
Also in the following years were also established relationships with the firm Strabag of Rzeszow thanks to which we were able to carry out work in minor but extremely important to increase our knowledge and experience to work other than highways.
Among the features of our company one of the most important is to be constantly active in finding solutions technically and technologically more advanced.
In fact, the Picco Bartolomeo Polska now has on the territory of the Lower Carpathians a park of construction equipment almost entirely equipped with GPS control systems (motor graders, bulldozers and excavators). In addition, for maximum autonomy and flexibility and to provide its customers with high quality service, is owner of GPS equipment and related software for the topographic need (reliefs, measurements, adaptation of projects to insert instructions into own machines)
All this has been possible thanks to the know-how of the parent company in adopting these technologies since 2002 and thanks to the contributions paid by the EU communities and Subcarpathian Province.
